My core model of training is Clarkson's 5 -Strand Model of the Therapeutic Relationship. I work privately for the NHS as part of a local GP surgery, and am a registered healthcare provider of health insurance companies WPA, Cigna, & Pru Health. I have also featured in articles such as 'Stylist Magazine' as an expert speaker.
My theoretical approaches includes: Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Attachment Theory, Child Developmental Psychology, Existential therapy, Transpersonal psychology and Psychosynthesis, Rational Emotional Behavioural Therapy, CBT, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Mindfulness & Guided Meditation & Evolutionary Psychology.
I am a professionally trained and registered member of the British Association of Counselling Psychotherapy (MBACP) and can be found on the BACP website It's Good To Talk for professionally registered therapists. I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and my professional experience incorporates expertise from working extensively within private and professional mental health organisations across London. To promote Good Practice and maintain professional standards of care, I attend regular clinical supervision as suggested by BACP guidelines.
I am a fully qualified SMART Group Facilitator and certified in Motivational Interviewing, Rational Emotional Behavioural Therapy (REBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have specialised within the field of addiction and trauma work, including 12 Step treatment centres, where I have worked extensively.
